Sitnikov Alexander graduated from the Surikov Moscow State Art Institute in 1972, and studied in the political poster workshop. He is a member of the Union of Artists since 1975.
In his work, Alexander Sitnikov tries to get away from the ordinary life, and depict the world around him through the prism of the beautiful, refined, and transformed color symbolism. The main creative tool of Alexander Sitnikov is color expression. His paintings reveal expressive colors that evoke passion, tragedy, and opposition of good and evil. A vivid example of this is the work of the museum collection Concert (in memory of D. Shostakovich).
