Vuchechevich-Sibirsky Vladimir is a big Russian artist, who connected his life with Siberia land. He added to his Family name the tag “Sibirsky” to denote his faith and belonging to Sibiria. Vladimir Dmitrievich was born in Ukraine in 1869. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts with Ivan Shishkin and participated in the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions (Peredvizhniki). At the beginning of the 20th century, the artist moved first to Kharkiv, and then, in 1900 he settled in Tomsk, and later in a settlement close to Krapivino.

All his love for Siberian landscapes the artist demonstrates in the work from the museum collection Bank of the Turgayak River.
