Kuzhelenko Olga is a painter, and a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, and the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan.

She was born and grew up in Ukraine, in Dnepropetrovsk, where she studied at art courses from 1927 to 1930. She came to Kazakhstan in 1934. Here she visited the studio of A. Rittig, who in those years worked in Kazakhstan. Olga Kuzhelenko was an active participant in exhibitions.

All her creative life Olga Kuzhelenko was fond of still life and portrait genres. The world of simple feelings and truths was the main theme of her paintings. The simplicity of the subjects is effectively captured, instilling a deep sense of sincerity in the viewer. The masterly sketch Uzbek Girls is a good example of it.
