Evgeny Fridlin prefers to work from nature. The artist depicts his subtle and momentary feelings with the help of the technique “a la prima” when he paints a picture in one session before the paint dries completely. The master’s canvases are painted with precise fixation of the natural impression mixed with the artist’s mood. Friedlin’s works, created by instant impression, are filled with vital emotions, as well as the author’s admiration for real life. Thus A Morning, presented in the museum’s exposition, is filled with a sense of light and warmth.
