Grigoryan Elena is a painter, graphic artist, and master of decorative and applied art. She was born in Baku and graduated from the Faculty of Art and Graphic Arts of the Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute in 1985. Elena Grigoryan is a participant in regional, republican, and international exhibitions.

The biblical theme is the central idea that began during her time as a student which now takes center stage in her art. Having found herself in Christianity, the artist carries the light of truths through her art. Her painting is complex, with color and shade gradations, often within one tone. Spiritual saturation is the main ton of Elena’s paintings. One of many works of the master, filled with ancient Christian symbolism is the canvas Fish I.
