Narymbetov Moldakul is a painter, sculptor, author of art objects, installations, and performances, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

He was born in the village of Glaba-Sai, South Kazakhstan region and graduated from the Tashkent Art School named after P.P. Benkov in 1974, art-graphic faculty of Kazakh State Pedagogical Institute named after Abai in 1990 and was an active participant in the city, republican, international exhibitions, and projects.

Moldakul Narymbetov managed to find and vividly express his artistic identity. He enhances the artistic style by simplifying it and using bold, assured, occasionally emotive brushstrokes. Narymbetov emphasizes colour, shape and space. His painting is based on sensual and subtle tonal relations. The artist uses ironic, light, simple ways to convey the sacred idea that life is often difficult and fate is unfair, but this is no reason to give up. No matter what, life is worth loving and fighting for. Narymbetov’s Wind is full of similar ideas.
