Beisembinov Arsen is a graphic artist and director. He was born in Alma-Ata. He graduated from the Almaty Art School named after N.V. Gogol in 1959, and Moscow Higher Art-Industrial School in 1966. He worked as an editor in the publishing house “Zhazushy”. Since 1968 he has been an artist-director of the cartoon department of “Kazakhfilm” film studio and participated in republican, all-Union, and international exhibitions.
The artist’s work is full of poetry and rigorous laconism. It is also philosophical and humorous. One can sense a peculiar vision of the subject in his pictures. Arsen Beisembinov’s works are characterized by imagination and technical virtuosity. Every stroke, every line, every nuance of light and shade is an invitation to thought and reason. The lithograph Beautiful Karashashash, presented in the museum’s exposition, is a good example of his art.
