School is over, but the period of school camps has begun. Children need to be entertained, and, in the city, of course, there are many places to go with children. You can go to the cinema, you can go to the park, and you can go to the museum.
In the Regional Museum of Fine Arts named after the Nevzorov family, the hot season has begun. Every day dozens of children come here. And it is not because they have nowhere to go. There is a lot of entertainment in the city. But, because here, in the museum, is really interesting! And if someone thinks that visiting a museum means only walking through the halls, looking at the pictures and listening to the guide, he is mistaken!
This summer, as always, the museum offers a lot of interesting events. In addition to children’s excursions, which differ from the usual, classical ones, the museum offers various creative trainings. The variety of artistic techniques and themes here gives ample opportunities for the development of creative imagination. Salt watercolor, applique, pointillism — these are just some of the techniques in which children work at creative trainings. And this is only a small part of them.
For fans of intellectual recreation the museum offers various quests. «Hopping through the books» is an entertaining and intellectual game for young and middle-aged children. For older children there are electronic games. All you need is a cell phone and a QR code scanning program. We scan it, enter the game, and – go forward through the museum. Two games — «Kurochka Ryaba» (Ryaba the Hen) and «Kot da Vinch» (A Cat and Vinchi) — offer various tasks, which can be done only by going around the museum. There is another game that doesn’t require a visit to the museum. ISCHI (Seek) — search for coincidences. You can play at home or at school, but it is better to see the paintings in the museum.
Every day since the beginning of the month the museum is visited by dozens of children. And this is just the beginning. Trainings, quests and excursions are planned for every working day until the end of the month. If it seems to some that summer is cool, the hot summer has already begun at the museum!
