GUIDELINES

The international socio-artistic project Don’t Miss the Life is first for the museum in its kind. Encouraging proactive life stand we have decided to contribute our mite to one of the most significant aspects in society life – social issues, directly or indirectly affecting each of us.

The world around is constantly transforming as well as human priorities, political environment, socially citizens are getting more active in various ways. One of the reasons for these crucial transitions is in progressively growing uptake of information services. The problem is that a share of negative information is enormous and its consequences in society may be overly disastrous.

It is well-known that a problem is easier to prevent that to struggle with its impact. A number of European nations handling this worldwide challenge have proven effectiveness of ‘non-commercial’ social product. Social advertising in Kazakhstan is yet in the making.

We have picked up a non-commercial social poster which sharply perceives social disasters, seeks to be in the sick of the events, may “hook” a man, stir emotions in simple and clear way and deliver the key idea. Social non-commercial poster is a new resource with unlimited opportunities to promote main human values, new mankind’s settings, and finally, new civic stand. It is empowered with constructive energy. The bigger is portion of social products in mass media, in the street and social networks, the faster they will bring home ideas developing positive messages in current unstable time, empathic attitude to others, the more stable society will become.

We appeal to artists and designers, creative professionals, active and talented people willing to be heard. We offer to search for sense, express your personal outlook in fresh and striking manner, send a visual message which would make our viewer meditate on, and perhaps, look around and help someone in need. Poster is a true and efficient art with a long history. Let’s go on with these awesome traditions and make ours world a bit kinder!

Apart from a core event, social poster exhibition, the museum will be a ground for some more bright activities such as: creating art objects, artistic promos, performances, charity shows and a spectacular concert.

We invite students to volunteer. Communication with artists will surely broaden your horizon and make you feel involved in a great deal.

“Don’t throw your life away”

P.S.

Dear artists! We have got some questions about the specific themes for the competition.

Our main message is “Don’t let your life to pass by”

You are an individual. You were born and given life. Don’t let it pass by. You must live and love and be happy, you must vie for it!

  1. We all are the Earth citizens and we all are unique and only love saves us.
  2. Ecological problems. Think about the world where your children and grandchildren will have to live. Nature conservation and animal life preservation.
  3. Take care of children! Children and Internet. Children and adults. Orphaned children. Psychological help to teens.
  4. Health problems: oncology, drug dependency, etc.
  5. Parents and we. The state and the aged.
  6. We all are of one blood. Race discrimination problems.
  7. No violence! Terrorism, family violence.
  8. Corruption is our enemy.
  9. True Kazakhstani heroes. Who is saving lives and promoting our Kazakhstan?
  10. What IQ has a nation? Education: music, literature, history, science. Advertence to culture and history is a way not only to enrich knowledge, but also to become a part of the world flow and leave your mark on the planet.
  11. Accessibility and rehabilitation of disabled people.
Taking into account a big number of those who wish to participate the competition, the arrangements committee decided to extend a deadline for application letters till 15.04.2017
