International Art project “Happy plate”

(Kazakhstan, Russia, Netherlands, Belorussia, Germany, Italy)

The second part of the international Art-project “Happy Plate” has finished in the Nevzorov museum of visual arts.
«Let’s share happiness!» — such words were addressed to the participants by the curator of the project Tatjana Egmond. «Remember the most wonderful and happy moment in your life and tell about it on this plate».
But why is the plate? The answer is very simple. The round shape of the plate symbolizes our planet. Circle is an ideal form which exists in nature. And certainly, circle – is a form, which has been popular among painters from old times. While drawing on a plate, a person translates his own images, feelings and experiences in the round space, which symbolizes the unity of each person with world and each other. The project «Happy Plate» has been already walking over the world for a long time, but for the first time it has come to Kazakhstan and in the Semey city. The Nevzorov’s museum is the very first its participant. With their happy moments shared pupils of children art school, participants of family groups and teachers – painters from different schools and colleges of the city. The exhibitions of happy plates have already taken place in Russia, Netherlands, Italy and Germany. And now, the works from Kazakhstan will also join them.
